WWD 2024 Garissa county commemorated at Young Muslim Girls high school
Taita Taveta we were not left behind. Although we had a big challenge, Kishenyi dam was the site for the event, however one farmer bordering the dam obtained a court injunction barring any activity to be held at the dam. We had to look for plan B at the last minute (yesterday) to mark the event. The dam is one of the highly encroached by farmers who are not willing to move out for it to be conserved
