National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs)
The NBSAP 2019-2030 is presented as a road map to achieving biodiversity conservation
targets in the country while also fulfilling international and regional obligations. The
action plan sets the time required to realize the action, performance and verifiable
indicators and allocates responsibilities for implementation to different institutions that
include Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), County Governments,
Private sector, Research and Academic Institutions, NGOs and CBOs.
