Kenya National Adaptation Plan 2015-2030
Enhanced climate resilience towards the attainment of Vision 2030 and beyond

This national adaptation plan (NAP) builds on the foundation laid by the NCCRS and the NCCAP.
Additionally, the NAP is the basis for the adaptation component of Kenya’s Intended Nationally
Determined Contribution (INDC) that was submitted to the United Nations Framework Convention
on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat.
The aim of this NAP is to consolidate the country’s vision on adaptation supported by macro-level
adaptation actions that relate with the economic sectors and county level vulnerabilities to enhance
long term resilience and adaptive capacity. This NAP presents adaptation actions that cover the time
frame 2015-2030
